About me

At five years old, my parents introduced me to the captivating movie-musical, Annie. For years, my VCR never ceased to replay it. I was enraptured by the singing, dancing little girls parading across my screen, and all I dreamed of was marching right beside them to the tune of the catchy songs. As I grew up, so did my taste in movies. I no longer had an inseparable attachment to Annie, but I continued to cultivate an insatiable love for the cinema and stage. I joined the Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit at thirteen years old, and for the first time, was surrounded by kids who looked like me with voracious appetites for the arts. Through this community, I not only developed my training, but found my purpose. Since then, I’ve cultivated my craft through training/productions at NYU and the Atlantic Acting School in New York City, tackling roles from Hen in Animal Farm to Hedda Gabler. When I’m not acting, singing, or writing, I’m binging new movies, curled up with a book, or blasting new album releases.
